Description
This charming group of four porcelain items showcases the diverse decorative themes and refined craftsmanship of late 19th to early 20th-century Chinese porcelain. Each piece is delicately potted with thin walls and a smooth, white glaze, serving as a canvas for various traditional motifs:
• The First Piece: Painted with cranes flying above a turbulent sea with a rising red sun, symbolizing longevity and “rising to the first rank.” It bears a four-character iron-red mark to the base.
• The Second Piece: Featuring a fluted, lobed rim (chrysanthemum shape), decorated with butterflies and flowering sprigs, representing joy and summer. It carries a four-character iron-red seal mark.
• The Third Piece: Depicting a classic landscape with blue and green mountain peaks. The reverse is inscribed with a poetic text and followed by a red seal. The base features a four-character mark “Bai Lu Dong Gu” (Old Deer Grotto).
• The Fourth Piece: Decorated with vibrant lotus blossoms and leaves, symbolizing purity. The base is marked with a four-character iron-red seal.

CONDITION REPORT
The items are in generally good condition with some age-related wear. Two pieces show visible hairlines extending from the rim and minor fritting to the edges. One piece has a small, stable chip at the rim. The enamels remain bright and well-preserved. There are no signs of major professional restoration.
