Description
This robust Tang Dynasty ewer features a generous, ovoid body tapering toward a solid, unglazed base. The vessel is characterized by its wide, flared mouth with a thickened rim and a short, waisted neck. Arranged around the shoulder are multiple small, arched lugs (loops), accompanied by a sturdy, curved handle on one side and a short, upward-pointing spout on the opposite side.
The exterior is applied with a rich, mottled green lead glaze that displays a natural “silvering” or iridescent degradation in areas, a hallmark of ancient lead-glazed wares buried for centuries. The glaze stops short of the foot, revealing a buff-colored, compact earthenware body. The interior of the neck and mouth shows a darker, brownish-green tone. Such ewers were practical vessels for liquids, yet their varied “lugs” suggest they were also designed for suspension or securing a lid with cordage.

CONDITION REPORT
The ewer is in good stable condition considering its age and size. The green glaze remains vibrant with characteristic crackle and localized areas of iridescence and minor flaking. The spout shows signs of old restoration or wear at the tip. There are expected minor surface abrasions, kiln spots, and earthen deposits consistent with burial. No major structural cracks are visible under standard inspection.

唐 绿釉多系执壶
此件唐代执壶器形硕大雄浑，壶身呈卵圆形，腹部丰满，下向足部渐收，底部露胎。壶口外撇，唇沿厚实，短颈。肩部装饰有多组小型的弓形系（耳），并配有一粗壮的弧形柄以及一短促有力的流（嘴）。
壶身满施翠绿铅釉，釉色深沉且发色不均，呈现出斑驳的自然美感。由于长期的地下埋藏，釉面局部产生了铅釉特有的“银化”现象或虹彩光泽。釉层未至底部，露出的胎体呈淡黄色，质地坚硬。壶内颈部可见深褐绿釉色。此类多系壶在唐代既是实用的盛酒或盛水器，其多系的构造也便于系绳提吊或固定壶盖。
品相报告：
整器品相良好，结构稳固。绿釉发色亮丽，见有自然的开片及局部虹彩，伴随少量釉面剥落。流口尖端见有陈旧的磨损或修复痕迹。器身见有与年代相符的轻微擦痕、窑斑及土沁。在常规检查下，未见明显的器身大裂纹。
