Description
This monumental and impressively decorated famille rose fish bowl, often referred to in connoisseurship as a “Hai” (Sea) due to its exceptional scale, features deep rounded sides and a wide flared rim. The exterior is vibrantly enameled with a continuous and lush garden scene featuring pairs of peacocks and pheasants amidst a dense landscape of blossoming peonies, magnolias, and bamboo. The birds are rendered with meticulous detail, their plumage highlighted in brilliant polychrome enamels.
The broad rim is decorated with a geometric diaper pattern interspersed with floral cartouches. Below the rim, a band of ruyi-head motifs encircles the shoulder. The interior of the bowl is equally lively, featuring an aquatic scene of various goldfish swimming among floating water weeds and lotus blossoms. The base of the exterior is finished with a traditional band of stylized upright petals.

CONDITION REPORT
The fish bowl is in overall good and stable condition for its substantial size. The enamels remain vibrant and well-preserved across both the interior and exterior surfaces. Consistent with its large scale and functional history, there are minor surface abrasions, occasional firing imperfections, and light wear to the highlights on the rim. No major cracks or professional restorations were observed upon visual inspection.

此件粉彩大鱼缸体量宏大，行内因其硕大之器型与极高之盛水量亦称之为“海”。器身圆腹下敛，平口宽沿。外壁以粉彩通景绘就一幅生机盎然的花鸟园林景观：可见成双成对的孔雀与锦鸡栖息于繁花茂叶之间，周遭环绕着盛放的牡丹、玉兰及翠竹。禽鸟羽毛刻画入微，色彩绚烂夺目。
宽大的口沿饰以几何锦地纹开光花卉纹。颈肩部环绕一周如意云头纹。缸内壁纹饰同样精彩，绘有多只金鱼游弋于水草与荷花之间，寓意“金玉满堂”。近底处则点缀一周彩绘莲瓣纹。

鱼缸整体品相良好，结构稳固。内外壁粉彩发色艳丽，保存较为完好。鉴于器物巨大的体量及实用功能，器身见有轻微的表面磨损、自然窑封及口沿处的正常磨损。常规检查下未见重大裂纹或明显的专业修补痕迹。
