Description
This impressive and substantial hexagonal vase features a tapered body rising to a waisted neck and a flared rim. The vessel is topped with a matching hexagonal cover surmounted by a bold, gilt-decorated Buddhist lion finial The exterior is elaborately decorated with iron-red “fish-scale” diaper grounds, framing large lobed panels on each of the six sides .Inside the panels, the artist has meticulously rendered various narrative scenes of literati and figures in garden and architectural settings .The figures are shown engaging in scholarly pursuits, such as conversing at tables or strolling through courtyards .The palette is dominated by a refined iron-red, complemented by delicate gilt highlights and touches of black and pale ochre enamels. The neck is further adorned with smaller cartouches containing floral sprays .The base is unglazed, revealing the fine, compact white porcelain body .

CONDITION REPORT
The vase and cover are in overall very good condition. The iron-red enamels and gilt highlights remain well-preserved with only minor typical surface wear and rubbing consistent with age. A few minor firing irregularities, including tiny pinpricks and iron spots, are present in the glaze. The Buddhist lion finial shows slight wear to the gilding. No chips, cracks, or professional restorations were detected under standard inspection.

此件六方瓶体量宏大，造型规整，由瓶身与原盖组成，瓶盖顶部装饰有一尊精美的金彩狮钮，整器以矾红彩绘“鱼鳞纹”为地，瓶身六面均设有大型开，开光内通景绘就文人雅士及仕女人物故事图，画面生动写实，画中人物或于亭台楼阁间清谈，或于庭院中穿行，比例协调，笔触细腻，色调以矾红为主，辅以金彩点缀，色泽沉稳而不失华丽。颈部亦设有小型开光，内绘花卉纹，底部露胎，可见胎质洁白细腻，修胎严谨。

整器品相极佳。矾红发色稳重，金彩保存较为完好，仅见与年代相符的轻微表面磨损。釉面可见少量自然形成的针孔及铁斑。盖钮金彩见轻微自然磨损。常规检查下未见磕损、冲线或人为修复痕迹。
